Updated Official Bellator MMA™ Fighter Rankings As Of April 26, 2022

LOS ANGELES (April 26, 2022) – Buzzing from the success of two riveting BELLATOR events on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, the promotion’s fighter rankings have been updated to reflect the elite mixed martial artistry inside the cage.

Liz Carmouche (17-7) became the new BELLATOR Women’s Flyweight World Champion and jumped up to No. 2 in the pound-for-pound rankings when she bested previously undefeated Juliana Velasquez (12-1) in front of a special crowd of current military, veterans, and first responders at BELLATOR 277. Enrique Barzola’s (18-5-2) defeat of Nikita Mikhailov (9-2) in a BELLATOR Bantamweight Grand Prix Wild Card bout helped him make a splash into the bantamweight rankings at No.10 and he will now move on to face Magomed Magomedov in the tournament.

Dazzling the crowd with his vivacious energy, Danny Sabatello (12-1) delivered on his promise to beat previously undefeated Jornel Lugo (8-1) in the second Grand Prix Wild Card bout of the night, entering the rankings at No. 9 and will now face Leandro Higo next. Both of those Bantamweight World Grand Prix Quarterfinal matchups will take place at Bellator 282: Mousasi vs. Eblen on Friday, June 24 at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Cris Cyborg (26-2) remains at the top of the pound-for-pound rankings after a victorious fourth defense of her featherweight championship title at BELLATOR 278. The rematch against Arlene Blencowe (15-9) was the first time that the greatest female MMA fighter of all-time had gone the distance in her BELLATOR career. The Bantamweight World Grand Prix launched into high gear and saw Raufeon Stots (18-1) add the new BELLATOR interim title to his waist after a successful scrap with former champion Juan Archuleta (25-4) and No. 2-ranked Patchy Mix (16-1) defeated No. 5-ranked Kyoji Horiguchi (29-5). Justine Kish (8-5) also debuted on the rankings after defeating formerly No.1-ranked female flyweight Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (11-2).

Up next for BELLATOR are back-to-back events in Europe starting with BELLATOR 280: Bader vs. Kongo, which is set for Friday, May 6 in Paris seeing Ryan Bader (29-7) defend his BELLATOR Heavyweight World Championship against Cheick Kongo (31-11-2) at the Accor Arena.

BELLATOR 281: MVP vs. Storley takes place the following Friday, May 13 at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, and features a Welterweight Interim Title fight between Michael “Venom” Page (20-1) and Logan Storley (13-1).
