STAMFORD, CT (July 14, 2023) – CES Boxing will host a press conference at Bobby V’s Restaurant & Sports Bar on Tuesday, July 18 featuring several Connecticut natives that will see action at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on August 12th.
In attendance will be Stamford native Chordale “The Gift” Booker (19-1, 8 KOs), who won the WBC US Super Welterweight title at Mohegan Sun Arena in April. Fresh off an explosive fourth-round knockout, Booker looks to defend his belt against Puerto Rico’s Nicolas Hernandez (27-6-3, 12 KOs). “The Gift” is hoping to close in on a shot at the WBC Super Welterweight title with another impressive win.
Another Stamford resident who will be featured is highly regarded Polish cruiserweight prospect Slawomir Bohdziewicz (1-0, 1 KO). Bohdziewicz made an impression in his professional debut, knocking his opponent out in round 3 with a furious body and head attack at Mohegan Sun Arena in April. Slawomir will face tough Brazilian Gabriel Costa (2-4) in a 4 rounder.
Rounding out the presser is Ali Feliz, an amateur sensation from Danbury. Ali, the #1 ranked Heavyweight in the US, will headline the “Jimmy Burchfield Classic Invitational,” a USA Boxing sanctioned Amateur showcase that will take place before the pro card on August 12th. His brother, undefeated heavyweight puncher Fernely Feliz, Jr. (6-0, 5 KOs) will battle Brandon Carmack (7-2-2, 4 KOs) in a 6 round pro bout on that card.
Several other bouts will be announced, including hall-of-famer Jaime Clampitt and prospects Wilson Mascarenhas, Anthony Velasquez, Alejandro Paulino and Angel Gonzalez in step-up fights.
CES Boxing cordially invites members of the press, boxing fans, and the local community to join us at Bobby V’s to hear more from the fighters, their trainers and managers.
