New Britain, CT – Fresh off of a memorable press conference in Stamford, the next stop on CES Boxing’s Winter Brawl 2024 press tour takes place this Saturday, January 20, at the Puerto Rican Society of New Britain.
On hand will be one of New Britain’s favorite sons, Nathan Martinez (8-2, 2 KOs) as he prepares to battle Ricky de los Santos (11-1, 3 KOs) for the vacant WBC USA Silver Featherweight Championship on February 3 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
This is a chance to hear from the 24-year-old Martinez about his rise up the featherweight rankings, what it means for him to fight for his first title, and what he expects from the formidable de los Santos. Considering that both men are based in New England and competing for their first professional title, this bout has ‘war’ written all over it.
Martinez will also be available for one-on-one interviews with the press and pictures with fans. Several amateur standouts participating in the ‘Jimmy Burchfield Classic Invitational’ will also be in attendance.
