MINNEAPOLIS, MN (June 5, 2023) — Former world super middleweight champion Caleb Truax, one of the
biggest names in Minnesota boxing, will make his much-anticipated return to the ring this month as part
of the June 24 Premier Boxing Champions card at The Armory in Minneapolis.
Truax (31-5-2 with 19 KOs), of St. Michael, will take on upset-minded Burley Brooks (6-2-1, 5 KOs) of
Dallas, Texas, giving local fans another chance to see one of Minnesota’s most recognizable fighters in
action at one of boxing’s preferred venues.
Headlining the PBC mega card is a 12-round clash pitting hard-hitting Interim WBC Middleweight
Champion Carlos Adames (22-1, 17 KOs) against former unified champion Julian “J-Rock” Williams (29-
3-1, 16 KOs).
