IBA Champions’ Night momentum continues with Roniel Iglesias facing Dulat Bekbauov in Belek, Türkiye

Lausanne, Switzerland – The next impressive instalment of IBA Champions’ Night will feature a trio of exceptional fights with a myriad of IBA World Championships and Olympic Games experience.

Two-time Olympic Games gold medallist and IBA World Champion Roniel Iglesias from Cuba will face IBA Men’s World Championship 2023 silver medallist Dulat Bekbauov from Kazakhstan in a 5-round, 3-minute, 67 kg bout on 30 September at the Regnum Carya Convention Centre in Belek, Antalya. The upcoming boxing spectacle will mark IBA’s first return to Türkiye since the IBA Women’s World Championships 2022 in Istanbul.

In another incredible fight, IBA Women’s World Championships 2022 bronze medallist Chelsey Heijnen from the Netherlands will challenge Ivanusa Moreira Gomes from Cape Verde, who is the current African Champion, in their 5-round, 2-minute, 66 kg bout.

The final match-up sees the IBA Men’s World Championships 2021 gold medallist Temirtas Zhussupov of Kazakhstan face-off against Edmond Khudoian who is coming off a bronze medal performance at the IBA Men’s World Championships 2023 in Tashkent in their 5-round, 3-minute, 48 kg bout.
