Two World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental titles will be on the line when Hlula Dladla Boxing Promotions presents championship boxing at the Fordaville Hall in Escourt, South Africa on November 11.
Lindelani Sibisi, 4-2 (3), will face fellow countryman Sange Ngoza, 7-3 (2), for the vacant WBF Intercontinental Featherweight title, and he will enter the fight as a favourite, something he hasn’t been used to.
Sibisi is coming off three solid victories in 2023, stopping undefeated prospects Zwelakhe Nhlapo and Andile Sibisi, and scoring a decision over the much more experienced and accomplished Sithembiso Maduna.
In the evenings co-feature, Nkosingiphile Sibisi, 5-0 (1), who is not related to Lindelani, takes on Tanzanian Ramadhan Pido, 11-2-2 (2), for the vacant WBF Intercontinental Flyweight title.
This Sibisi is also riding high, following a victory over 5-0 Njabulo Buthelezi last July, but is expected a tough nights work against the capable Pido who is undefeated in his last five outings.
