UPDATED BELLATOR MMA FIGHTER RANKINGS FOLLOWING BELLATOR 299: EBLEN VS. EDWARDS

LOS ANGELES (September 26, 2023) — BELLATOR 299: Eblen vs. Edwards delivered an action-packed card in front of a fiery Irish crowd in Dublin, Ireland this past Saturday. Reigning Middleweight World Champion Johnny Eblen (14-0) retained his title and his No. 4 spot in the BELLATOR men’s pound-for-pound rankings with a devastating third round knockout over surging contender Fabian Edwards (12-3).

In a high-stakes featherweight clash, Aaron Pico (12-4) captured the No. 2 contender ranking following his emphatic performance against Pedro Carvalho (13-8). Carvalho retained his No. 5 position in defeat.

Elsewhere on the card, undefeated Sara Collins (5-0) jumped up two spots to No. 4 in the women’s featherweight rankings with her victory over Sinead Kavanagh (9-6). Levan Chokheli (13-2, 1 NC) debuted in the top-ten of the welterweight rankings at No. 10 after his highlight reel front kick knockout over Sabah Homasi (17-12). Lastly, Jay Jay Wilson (10-1) joined the upper echelon of the lightweight division at No. 9 following his back-and-forth brawl against Mansour Barnaoui (20-6).

BELLATOR MMA will next visit the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, Calif. for the historic BELLATOR 300 event on Saturday, Oct. 7. The monumental event features FOUR world title fights including the one-million-dollar BELLATOR Lightweight World Grand Prix semifinal matchup between incumbent champion Usman Nurmagomedov (17-0) and former champion Brent Primus (12-3). The top pound-for-pound female fighter in the world and current BELLATOR featherweight world champion Cris Cyborg (26-2, 1 NC) will face No. 1-ranked Cat Zingano (14-4) in a grudge match between two of the most recognizable athletes on the planet. BELLATOR’s reigning Heavyweight World Champion Ryan Bader (31-7, 1 NC) defends his belt in a rematch against No. 1-ranked Linton Vassell (23-8, 1 NC). Finally, two of San Diego’s top fighters collide as Liz Carmouche (19-7) defends her flyweight belt against former World Champion and No. 2-ranked Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (13-2) in a highly anticipated battle between two close friends and training partners.
